I love fall, and by fall I’m referring to places where the leaves change. Apologies to those of you residing in LA or Miami Beach – but if the leaves don’t change, it isn’t really fall in my humble opinion.
We’ve had the pleasure of owning many works that reflect upon this season from the eyes and paintbrushes of artists we know and love. I’ve pulled together a few highlights from our archives and current collection to get you in the mood for the fleeting and ethereal changes of autumn. If you are one of those folks who live where the leaves don’t turn I invite you to enjoy fall vis-à-vis these canvases.
For me fall is full of the nostalgia of events which come with the changing season – tailgating at football games, just-picked apples, plump pumpkins, and crisp, starry nights with a nip in the air.
Fall is also about Mother Nature the artist painting an infinitely changing picture for us to see and reflect upon. So get your rakes and scarves out…and fall for Fall!
Take a look, reflect upon changes, and enjoy those crisp fall apples!
